a practical joke in five movements, Op. 11 [FULL SCORE]
This piece was comissioned by a good friend of mine, Kris Hilding - a wonderful violist, composer, and conductor. This was written for a performance by himself and his students under his direction as Adjunct Instructor of Music at Bethel College in Newton, Kansas. The idea for writing a comedically-inspired piece comes from Kris's natural personality whenever we have found ourselves together. He often is known as both a serious musican, and someone who always knows how to make the room laugh. Image by kjpargeter on Freepik.
